New Exhibit at the Greenbelt Courthouse

You are invited to come view my current exhibition at the United States Courthouse located at 6500 Cherrywood Lane, Greenbelt, MD 20770. The Courthouse is open 7.00 a.m. to 7.00 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. This exhibition will run during August, September and October of 2018.

On exhibit are sixty pieces of my art: silk art, silk painted garments, photography and photography printed on silk.

In addition, you will have the opportunity to review a copy of the latest book I co-authored with Jan Janas, a Master Silk Painter, “The Fine Art of Painting on Silk”.

Since its inception in 1996, the U.S. District Court’s art program at the Greenbelt Courthouse, has contributed greatly to our region’s cultural environment. The original purpose of the program was to feature works by Maryland artists, but over the years it has expanded to also include international art, quilting, sculpture and painting. Judge Peter J. Messitte is the driving force behind the art program.

Bobby Donovan, Master Curator, was selected to curate and hang the show.

The Courthouse will host an opening reception on Sept 6th, 2019 - 5pm to 6.30 pm in the atrium. Lovely refreshments and wine will be served.

Come to the opening reception, Sept 6th, 2018 at 5PM, view the exhibition, mingle with the judges, courthouse staff and fellow artists.
